AI, NFTs, Arts, and a New Human Centric Approach

We spoke with Carlos Moreira, CEO of WISekey, one of the panelists at the UN Alliance of Civilisations, Global Dialogues, their first event that focused on human rights and artificial intelligence. He spoke on issues of privacy and digital rights.

His cybersecurity firm is based in Switzerland, with clients around the globe, and is listed in the Nasdaq and at the Swiss Exchange in Zurich. One of the greatest success stories in technology firms that were created in Switzerland. Moreira is a leader on cybersecurity issues and a veteran of the UN system.

He is also the founder of OISTE Foundation, an NGO that has special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council, ECOSOC.

OISTE work focuses on human rights and data privacy issues in the digital space and the control of digital identity by the individual user and the respect of a human code of ethics in artificial intelligence. WISekey works with governments and multilateral organisations. They just partnered with the government of Seychelles to launch their national digital identification platform based on WISeKey’s WiseID.
