We the participants in this first global debate on progress towards the world of one humanity, and the new possibilities for progress offered by artificial intelligence,

United by the conviction that the person must be the center of protection and concern in the 21st century, being necessary to deepen the global political architecture to better organize the collective life of all humanity, guaranteeing freedom, justice, security, and promoting the talent of each one,

We sign the following appeal to build a world of new horizons, where human intelligence and artificial intelligence, hand in hand, lead us into a new, more harmonious and hopeful world,

Considering

That it is essential to promote a greater awareness of world citizenship, where the person gains value above any other consideration, aspiring for each person to be a vector of progress and creativity in this world.

That humanity has never invented so much and in so many fields like now, so we can aspire to enter the new era that we call “the intelligence era”, being essential for this to establish peace and cooperation on a global scale, neutralizing the dynamics of destruction and the risks of confrontation.

That the development of artificial intelligence will also have a great impact on the human brain, having the potential to alter personalities, perceptions and cognitive abilities. In this regard it is essential to advance in the protection of human rights linked to the area of neuroscience.

That the development of artificial intelligence instruments is bringing humanity into this new era at great speed, and it is essential to strengthen its proper use by public authorities, to improve service to citizens and advance in a solid public-private partnership, which overcome the obstacles that any innovative process entails and facilitate good coordination between inventors, developers, entrepreneurs, unions, citizens and regulators.

That the transformations underway with the growing use of artificial intelligence tools in migration management, the administration of justice, the preservation of the environment, education, communication, medicine, economy, energy, logistics, water management, mobility, art, culture and personal identity, as the presentations in this first global debate have highlighted, can profoundly transform the lives of millions of people on five continents, it is appropriate to increase the outreach efforts and prepare many populations to benefit from the changes underway, aspiring for all of us to be active and not passive subjects of these changes.

That all our potential for scientific, economic, social and cultural progress is in danger, if the world political framework is not a guarantee of peace, security and progress for all, thus being the highest priority to establish an effective world political architecture. Today it is more necessary than ever to advance towards the world of humanity alone, which, establishing the validity of common norms and institutions on a planetary scale and deepening the development of human rights, consign wars and conflicts to the past.To this end, it is necessary to redouble support for the UN and highlight the value of the Secretary-General’s new common agenda,

That the extraordinary value of planet earth and the enormous potential of humanity should lead each person to become even more aware that their life time has immeasurable value and that it should be oriented towards knowing the planet, discovering and strengthening their capacities as individual, contribute to progress, and neutralize all dynamics of hatred, conflict and domination to the point of relegating them to the past.

Considering that the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations brings together many diverse forces in favor of a culture of respect for diversity, seeking to overcome conflicts and disagreements through dialogue and understanding of the factors that trigger them, UNAOC constitutes a privileged international actor to drive progress towards the “One Humanity World”

Express our complete conviction that establishing a successful global political architecture, must be the highest priority in our time given the existing potential for destruction and when the capacity for innovation and progress is the greatest in history, for which the framework of global coexistence it is the cornerstone to settle everyone’s life on a safe path and undertake the progressive solution of all the other specific problems that confront us, for which the United Nations 2030 agenda and the Secretary-General’s common agenda have marked the roadmap .

Underline the importance of incorporating neurorights as new fundamental human rights. In particular the right to mental privacy, the right to free choice in the digital world, the right to protect identity, the right to equal access to increased cognitive ability, and the right to be protected from manipulation.

Recognize the value of the States as articulators of the collective life of multiple groups, but understanding that they constitute an advanced stage of this human evolution towards having the whole planet as a home and encourage them to act as the channels that lead humanity in an articulated way towards a single global framework, where the rules and institutions are global and each citizen can develop their capacities to the maximum.

Give value to the new opportunities that artificial intelligence opens up for us in all areas of activity, as the presentations and interventions of this first global debate have well reflected, and strengthen research and reflections to always keep artificial intelligence at the service of humanity. , improving the quality of life and preserving the intimacy and privacy of all people, guiding it to be a vector that favors the value of diversity and contributing to a culture of respect and brotherhood in the world.
